A Biodegradable ester for applications in Hydraulic fluids, either alone or in combination with other products for improved low temperature fluidity. Together with suitable modifiers the product is suitable for the production of ISO 32, 46 and 68 hydraulic fluids.
Esters find wide application as lubricants, providing a combination of features including good thermal, hy- drolytic and oxidative stability, and low pour point.
